AUTOCRAFT Motor Caravans have been named as main sponsors for the Ryan Douglas Testimonial Meeting at Leicester’s Hydroscand Arena.
Former racer Ashley Birks, who was a team-mate of Douglas at Scunthorpe in 2013-14, is a director of the Chesterfield based firm along with brother Jonathan.
The company was initially founded in 1984 to supply the motor repair industry with parts, and they now specialise in converting customers’ vehicles and adding any optional aftermarket equipment.
They are already regular sponsors of Douglas and have now put their backing to his meeting at Beaumont Park on Saturday March 22 (4pm).
Douglas said: “I’ve known Ash and Jono Birks for around 12 years, and I consider them really good mates.
“They’ve both helped me a lot with my career, both on and off the track, so I’m really happy to announce them as my main sponsor from my Testimonial.”
